I'm wondering if this is a problem I'm only having or is there anyone else expriencing this problem.. sometimes It takes 45-60sec for my character to even show up on screen when I log in game.. and at times when I'm in battle my weapon will not appear.. also monsters takes awhile to load sometimes as well as NPC's is there any way I can fix this?

I've somewhat had those problems. My weapon sometimes does not appear I just use the button to put it away and pull it back out again and that fixes the problem. As for the other things I am not sure, it is most likely a problem with your graphics card, or graphics drivers. Also being beta your card just may not have the support it needs yet.

Yeah.. it could be the driver problem my graphic card is the 9800gx2 maybe it's something Nvidia has to fix with their next driver release and it is suppose to be very soon. I really hope this is the problem.

Nvidia drivers are iffy for me in RO2 sometimes too (8800GT).

Actually found out the problem with the model load times.. well for me it really has to do with Windows Vista. If you right click on the RagII icon and scroll to properties and go over to the Compatibility Tab you can run Ragnarok Online II with an earlier version of windows There's only 2 versions of windows that get rid of this problem that I have. Windows 95 and Windows 98/ ME. Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5), 2000 and even Window XP service pack 2 all give me the slow model loadings. But even with 98/Me and 95.. I can log into the Adventure Training Ground it loads fast I can pull out my weapon and it loads on command but when I run around for a few I get a General Protection Fault, now if anyone know how to fix the GPF we will have our solution to the model load problem.. I hope.

Use this translation file and it will fix the models loading slowly. It doesn't fix them all, but it fixed character/npc models for me.

Even with that fix, the game runs too poorly on Vista so I booted to my XP install just to play it, where it runs flawlessly. However, I find it incredibly boring without music playing and with mobs being so scattered.

RO2 still needs a lot of work.
